MY VW NEEDED A COOLING SYSTEM REPLACED. I TOOK IT IN ON 28 MARCH, ADVISOR SAID WLD LOOK INTO TO SEE WHETHER REPAIRS WLD B COVERED UNDER WARRANTY? ONLY FEEDBACK RECVD THAT DAY, WAS THAT CAR I HAD 2 WINDSCREEN CHIPS? WEEKEND PAST. I SOURCED MY WARRANTY (NOTE: MY BOOK WAS NOT PUT BACK IN MY CAR AFTER SERVICE @ VW CLAREMONT). REPAIRS WERE FOUND NOT TO BE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY, I GAVE GO AHEAD FOR THE REPAIRS - TOLD WLD BE NO MORE THAN R5000. 8 DAYS LATER I NEEDED MY CAR. WORK WAS IMCOMPLETE THO & I HAD TO RETURN CAR TO VW (NOTE: I COLLECTED MY DIRTY CAR & TOOK IT BACK ON 10 APRIL. WHEN I COLLECTED MY CAR ON 11 APR - THE TANK WAS EMPTY, WATER TANK WAS EMPTY AND COOLANT LIGHT KEPT FLASHING FOR ME TO STOP DRIVING? ON MONDAY I COMPLAINED - THEY PROVIDED A COURTESY CAR & TODAY RETURNED MY CAR - DIRTY. I STILL DONT KNOW WHAT I PAID FOR, WHAT WAS DONE THIS WEEK AND TO RETURN MY CAR DIRTY AFTER ALL THE BAD SERVICE I HAVE ALREADY ENDURED - THOUGHT I SHOULD SHAE. UPON USING THE POLO (COURTESY CAR), I WAS POSITIVE AGAIN ABOUT VW, SADLY THIS HAS BEEN SHORTLIVED.
