I booked a major service and repairs on 10/04/2013 with Car Service City in Menlyn for the 16/04/2013 for my vw caddy bakkie.
On the 16th April 2013 I took my bakkie for the service and repairs @ 06:50am I booked in my bakkie, when I booked in my bakkie I asked the mechanic (Hennie) if my bakkie will be finished on the same day because there is a lot of repairs to be done "cv's, c-belt, v-belts" and he told me yes all the work will be completed.
I phoned them @ 10:48am for feedback but they still didn't do anything, at 12:44pm I was at the work shop and still nothing has been done when I phoned at 15:50pm still nothing has been done not even the 62 point check or the service.
I find this totally unacceptable and unprofessional as I had to take unpaid leave from my work for the day to get the service done and now they have wasted my time and money, I never expected this poor service from such a large firm based in such upmarket place as Menlyn and I will never advise anyone to go to any of the car service city's anywhere in S.A. because all they can do is tell to their customers and never get the job done.
