About a month ago we took our bakkie to JKL because it had no power and some sort of "miss". They said that the bakkie burned valves and gave us a quote for R6300. After 3 weeks they were still working on the bakkie and then they said it was a crank sensor of R1100 that had to be replaced, we agreed to pay for that. Eventually we contact two guys that used to work for Colt and they came to JKL and these two guys fixed the bakkie. We still waited over the weekend for JKL to clean up the bakkie, and come Monday they phoned us and said the bakkie is ready and the price? R8999 excl. vat. We refused to pay this money as we brought in our own people to fix the bakkie. They eventually settled for R7000. When we got the invoice, we saw that they put diesel in the bakkie instead of petrol - to start the bakkie - can you believe that!!! The bakkie still has the "miss" and oil is spilling out of the engine. Now we have to pay some one else to fix our bakkie - PATHETIC, PATHETIC SERVICE
