Tata Automobile Corporation Sa
NEW VEHICLE NOT UP TO STANDARD

We bought a new Tata Vista Indica Safire at the end of January 2013. After they delivered the vehicle on the Friday afternoon and already left, we noticed that the left side indicator did not work properly. It only flickered once, then stopped. We took the car to our nearest Tata dealership and they said they will fix it under the warranty, because it is a brand new car.
We checked the vehicle for other manufacturer faults and noticed that the roof light did not work, the boot doesn't open when you pull the boot lever on the inside of the vehicle and the car made a knocking noice at the back on the righthand side.
The Tata dealership said they would have to order a new flicker unit, because the whole unit needs to be replaced. They fixed the boot latch and said that we must bring the car the next Saturday for the roof light to be fixed and for the flicker unit to be replaced.
After returning the car several times, both the indicators now does not work, as well as the roof light, seatbelt and headlight warning alarms. After 5 e-mails to Tata Customer care, the car is still not fixed.
