Dishonest Staff at Midrand Give Shocking Service

I brought my car in for a 45000km service. At this time, I noted that my back panel was rusting, and was within warranty and needed to be replaced. I explained to the service assistant that I was not willing to accept the panel to be repaired, as the rust was beyond the paint and had affected the panel itself.

I was forwarded to Angie Fourie from from Hyundai's claims department. She told me that the panelbeater would assess the damage and determine if the panel was to be replaced.

We scheduled a date for me to bring in the car and the assessment was conducted. I called Angie Fourie who personally assured me that the panel was being replaced, and even requested additional time for the car to be kept so that the work could be done.

After receiving the car back from Hyundai, I see that the panel was not replaced, but the existing panel was poorly covered up by the panelbeater to hide the damage!

This is completely unacceptable! I have been to by Midrand Hyundai, and its clear that the Midrand branch has zero audit control for the work their partners do, even for client warranty work!

This is absolutely disgusting service. I expect immediate resolution within the week
