I had an accident on the 10th of april. A1 assist was suddenly there... claiming to be assisting me they asked me who i'm insured with... they got one of their on the cell they gave me to speak to and claimed that he is from my insurance and the bennie guys gave him my details & pretended to be confirming my insurance detials and the vehicle... being on that line got convinced that it was really my insurance then authorised towing... Now they claimining R6270.00 to release the vehicle. when i try to take that up with A1 assist manager karel told to speak to her but failed to give me the tower's no and also became very rude to me.
A1 ASSIST ARE BIG WHO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE IN ACCIDENTS. I NEVER CALLED THEM TO THE SCENE AND I NEVER ASKED THEM TO ASSIST OR CALL INSURANCE THEY JUST TOOK ADVANTAGE OF MY SITUATION AND MANIPULATED ME.
NEVER TRUST THIS GUYS.
