Peugeot South Africa
LATENT DEFECT, WARRANTY EXPIRED BY 8 DAYS

The entire locking system (both front doors plus back door) of our 2010 Peugeot Partner (60 000kms) simultaneously broke. It was 8 days out of warranty! We approached the Tygervalley Branch and the service manager motivated to the warranties department to have the locks replaced under warranty since it clearly is a latent defect. (Estimated cost to us for replacing the entire locking system came to R3 525.55) After 8 days of following up and many phone calls to branches and call centres, we finally received an emailed reply which stated that PCSA would be willing to contribute R845.02 (not even enough to cover the labour of the job!) After requesting name and numbers of the more senior decision makers (since public are not allowed to speak to the warranty dept) we are still patIently waiting - whilst our delivery van is parked and unable to work for us.

All of this for 8 DAYS OUT OF WARRANTY!!!
