My Hyundai 1.8 GLS was taken for service to Hyundai Amazintoti for a service at 6000km. We were later alerted that the car was no where to be found and it was deemed as. Netstar was called into action and 4 hours later the vehicle recovered in the Morningside Area with fortunately no visible damage to the exterior/interior. The car was locked and park on the side of the street according to Netstar recovery team.
The vehicle was handed back.
What I cannot understand is how does a car get from a Hyundai Service Center, where is the security and how did they manage to get the keys for the vehicle. I dont buy the story that someone walked in a took the keys/car and drove it away.
I would like a written apology and explanation from Hyundai on this matter. The inconvenience and stress caused by negligence is unacceptable.
