In Oct 2012 I bought a 2nd hand Audi A4 B7 from Blue Route Auto who are based in CT albeit I live in Jhb. I saw their advert on Carfind and had reviewed it on their website too. After deciding, there were a few things that left me disgruntled.
1) After the contract was signed, the salesman called me to tell me of "an honest mistake on his part" where having confirmed that the extended warranty was included, it was now revealed that it wasn't and he had to add the additional money ( /- R5k). I took the news on the chin and having been served well, decided to proceed.
2) Upon receiving the vehicle, I saw that the mileage was not what had been advertised. Instead of the 75 000km's advertised, the car had 85 500km's on the clock (apparently an ex-employees's mistake) and they left the vehicle with only 2km's worth of fuel in the tank. I was almost stranded without fuel in the first 10 min after collecting my car.
With all these issues, the owner, Paul agreed to have some interior issues fixed. 5 months and several attempts later, only 1 small aspect of the agreed issues have been fixed. Now when I call, it's either not answered or "he'll call me back shortly" and doesn't.
