I paid R1300 to airfreight a box of packaging overnight from a supplier in Durban and was assured I would receive it by 10:30 this morning. It is now over an hour late and I am still waiting. This is delaying my entire schedule as I have orders to send out to customers. I paid this excessive amount on the understading that I would receive the parcel by 10:30am latest. An hour may not seem long to wait but i am in an industry where every minute wasted costs money. Will Fedex be reimbursing me for loss of sales caused by their poor service and empty promises, as well as the R1300 I spent for no reason? I doubt it.
