Finally, I get the car I have always dreamt of owning. Proud owner of a C220 CDI. A 3 yr old used one in Excellent cond to start off with. Fantastic Brand - Not so Sure!!!
Of all the cars I have owned over the period of my 40 odd years as a motor car owner -New and Used. Never has one EVER left me stranded with a breakdown - Ever. And not all of them have had the service history of this one. But THAT was just the beginning. It Just became worse!! To top it, I am now Learning about the Inherent faults of this model, it Doesn't look too good for the future!
Contrary to the belief of "Get a Merc and you will be set". Yea sure - for 120 000Km!!! and while under the MotorPlan. It Appears that This brand and associated Service, is NOT REALLY ANY more superior than ANY other of the motor Car brands around. The Prestige and convenience of owning one, Not so sure., No - you're still no more special than Anybody else with any other car, except this one is much more expensive (finance and convenience). And you will have to WAIT for spares when it breaks down.
