I cannot begin to describe how disgusted I am with the the poor service I received from JH Retief Removals. I asked for a quote to move my property from Cape Town to Johannesburg which I had to chase up for them to do this. Eventually I received my quote which was R4300. I paid this immediately as I was told they would only load the truck once the money was paid. On Monday the 25th of March they came to pick my stuff up and I was promised delivery within the next day or 2 only to be told that my stuff was more than what I had initially indicated on the Inventory list and the they requoted me by a further R4300 which I alson paid immediately as all I wanted was my stuff delivered on time as promised. On Wed 27 March i called to follow up on delivery only to be told that my stuff will only be delivered by the 5th of April
Question I paused is why then did they pick up my stuff earlier knowigly that deliveries will only be in 2 weeks time? they could not answer this instead blame was being shifted from to another, I find this to be false advertising and blocking other potential transporters from helping me as they came and took my stuff away leaving me with no choice but to use them
