My 2011 Mazda 5 was services at around 44200kms under service plan. i still had to pay for an air filter... how does this work?
yesterday, about 800kms after my car was serviced, it would not start. i called the pmb dealer whom was not at all helpfull untill such time as i spoke to the dealer principal. the vehicle was taken to Barloworl armstrong pmb to be checked out. at around 15h00 i received a call to say that the spark plugs had to be replaced, but neither the service plan or warranty would cover these repairs and i was quoted R880.00 for 4 sparkplugs and a further R770.00 to fit them.
this car was serviced around a month ago, has a so called service plan and is under warrantee. how does this work?
To top it all, Tanya at Mazda Sa promised to call me back by 9h00 today (28/03/2013), but as expected... nothing.
I was bullied into paying for this "repair", but i certainly have no intention of letting this matter be left unresolved, and even after extreme discounts, i am out of pocket R1154.82 for repairs on a car under warranty with a so called service plan. I expect a full refund!
