I booked my car in for a service in November 2012 - I requested that the right hand sliding door of my Kia Sedona be checked. It was reported that they could find no fault. A week later I telephoned Kia Germiston to report that the sliding door was still faulty - I was then advised I need to bring my car in again for the Servicing department to check what part need to be ordered. This was done on the 28/11/2012 - I was advised that it could take awhile to get the part as it was the Christmas period. I heard nothing from the dealership regarding the part - I telephoned in February to enquire if they had received the part - they had nothing on record! The process was then begun to investigate what part was needed - but I heard nothing from the dealership until I enquired again if they had the part - nothing. I had a very heated exchange with the Service manager who then informed me to bring my car in on the 26/3/2013 - I did, only to be telephoned at 4pm to hear my car will not be ready today - only ready for collection tomorrow - this job was only supposed to take a day, I now have the inconvenience of no car for at another day - and 3 children that need to fetched and carried.
