After having to wait 20 minutes for car seats we booked days in advance (they had to be delivered from a different location) - they were handed to us over the counter!
No instructions were given on how to install them - and had to request multiple times for instructions or to be shown/guided on how to install them as we were unfamiliar with these car seats. In the end we were instructed to just place the seatbelt over the baby seat - as you would when seated yourself - which is absolutely wrong and completely unsafe!
How can Thrifty allow this? Why don't they train someone at each of their locations to install car safety seats correctly?
I don't mind signing an indemnity form for someone to install my car seats correctly - because in the end it is my children's lives that are being put at risk!
