I responded to an add for a Maltese puppy in CT central at R1500. Once interest shown the price go up to R1700 as she is now in Northern Cape so courier charges is R700 extra. I questioned and received a very aggressive mail accusing me of calling them scamsters, haha. Getting emotional seeing photos I agreed to pay R1100 on proof of ID they email me and balance on delivery. Next day on del confirmation from Richard, he asked for R4250 for crate fees. I refuse to pay and he get quite rude. At this moment I don't have a puppy and am out of pocket,
I do believe Richard is the scamster and even suspect that he is using false ID documents. They first asked me what bank do I deal with before they send me bank details, I believe they are running accounts with Standard Bank, Capitec and ABSA, they will give you the bank details where they can get the quickest transfers. I have handed them over to the dev at Standard bank as they can verify from the ID and with FICA docs if this account belong to the ID holder that they send me. Please report this to your banks.
