8 August 2013 - Responded to an advertisement for Shih Tzu puppies. Received an email from [Email Removed] with photos of four beautiful puppies, three girls named Judy, Nira & Precious and a boy named Henry. Morris Jacobs gave his address as 2 Lodge Rd, Kimberley 8301. A friend happened to be in Kimberley for the weekend and agreed to bring the puppy back for us. We decided on the boy. The purchase price was R2000. Morris requested a deposit of R1000 immediately. We paid the full R2000 as our friend was collecting. When our friend called to collect on Sunday morning, there was no answer on cell number: 078-740-2925. I then received an email from Morris, saying his child had to be taken to hospital during the night and he was unable to go home to hand over the puppy. He promised to send the puppy by courier at his expense. I received an email from Mthandeni Senzo Majola of Global Pet Transport 073-658-1186, requesting R3300 for a temperature regulator crate. The R3000 was refundable. Bank details with Nedbank. I refused to pay. He then said he would donate the puppy to a puppy haven. I copied the breeder on all correspondence via sms and email. No puppy
