Pricing a shoddy job in bad faith

I took my car to Audi center in Menlyn on 2 January 2013 for service. I agreed with the service consultant on the issues that required attention: service and quotation for brakes. He called me later in the day to confirm the quotation for brakes and i stopped him from working on them. He confirmed a total price of about R4000 for all the work. When I went to collect the car, the consultant handed me a bill of R7980.00, claiming that he had fixed a cv joint. We hadn't discussed that. I could not collect my car immediately if I didn't pay. I work in Botswana and I had to make other arrangements to get my car back. I called the service manager (Dion) with my complaint about the matter: he promised to call me with a better explanation. He never called. I called him the following monday, and he promised again to call, he never called. As if that was not enough, on my way to Botswana, the car starts cutting, choking and running out of power. I had to book it for repairs to establish the source of the problem, and its been diagnised as related to fuel line. This is just confirmation that a shoddy job was done for of R7980, and I can get it corrected elsewhere for much less than that
