My daughter took delivery of a new VW Polo Tdi in Jan 2013. The car was ordered with a VW detachable tow-hitch. On collection the car had been fitted with an aftermarket tow-hitch (fixed).

A single email to the Dealer Principal, Ferdi Petzer, was answered within the hour. His response was that he could either order another new car from factory (with the correct tow-hitch) or do whatever we felt was necessary to rectify the 'issue'. No fuss, no fighting, just a positive response with a solution. Amazing.

The 'issue' was rectified at considerable cost to the dealership, as both the tow-hitch and bumper skin were replaced.

Well done to Ferdi Petzer, Wiess Motors and VW... this is not the norm. Thank You.
