I went to the Renault branch in Alberton and attempted to make an application for a Renault Sundaero. I say attempted because after a week of having to call these people to find out whats going on and getting the response "The manager will call you shortly he is negotiating the best rates for your target installment".

Eventually loosing patience I called in and got through to someone whom read me what was being applied for and the results were utterly shocking. Instead of attempting to find out an installment on what we discussed the details had dramatically changed. Instead of a R27500 deposit this was changed to trade in (dont know on what since we never had a car to trade in), from no residual I find that there is still a residual and the installment will be R2700 which is substantially higher than the worst deal they have on their pamphlet.

My primary annoyance here is what the did they do for a week? I am trying to purchase an item for R150 000 and I would expect a little bit of actual work to be done and maybe they would actually know what the i am applying for. This was utterly pathetic and has wasted a week of my life.
