I use this company to ship items (custome jewellery) around the country. December I have sent a parcel (value with delivery costs to total R375) to a buyer in the Durban area. Now we buy these satchets with the understanding that goods are covered up to R1000 per satchet. And one has to buy 20 satchets at a time. The parcel got lost and after being in contact with the Durban branch, I was told they are responsible because the parcel was received by them but now is missing and I must get in touch with Head Office and file a claim. Which I have done early December 2012. Now, after almost three months, and me enquiring, I get told that the parcel is not covered because of the goods it was carrying. Please, they must maybe make sure that the sales consultants get trained properly. I have refunded the buyer ages ago because my loss would have been settled as we are covered for up to R1000 per parcel. What a wake up call. I will terminate the service as soon as my satchets are finished. Did not think there could be company worst than the SAPO.
Surely I was mistaken.
