Intertrans
Missing Personal Belongings

On the 2nd Feb 2013, I used the services of Intertrans Removals to move house..upon going to pay the balance of account in cash, I noticed that R1500.00 had been removed from my wallet. I had withdrawn the money the day before for the specific reason of paying for their services..the supervisor had offered for me to search his staff at the time however, being cash, it was difficult to account for the missing notes without having the serial numbers on hand..the very next day I had noticed that my R600 watch had also taken a walk and that is when I decided to complain to the company..I was informed by the manager that a detector test could be performed, starting with me, however should his staff pass, the cost would fall onto me at R700 per person, there were 5 staff involved..other than questioning his staff if they were aware of anything, the manager was not willing to help, nor offer any kind of reimbursment..this complaint is simply to warn others considering this companies service, think carefully!!! You may end up paying more than you realise...
