While another rental company had declared they could not help me, Luvo worked with colleagues at two other Avis branches to help me secure a rental car for my mother. She was to pick up the car in Cape Town and I was to pay from Johannesburg.
A consultant at Avis Lanseria (close to my home) booked the car for me, another at Park Station (close to my work) processed the payment and Luvo completed the process in Cape Town. He explained the workings to me and kept me posted with the progress. When, at a point, I called him, he offered to call me back with info rather than put me on hold and use up my air time!
Luvo also offered my mother coffee and helped her relax amidst her exhaustion after a bus ride, her heavy luggage and the Cape Town rain. She is absolutely touched by such care and so am I.
