Engen Petroleum
Treated like a criminal - Engen Bluewater Bay PE

Very early on Sunday (10/02/2013) morning I went to fill up at the local Bluewater Bay Engen, where I usually get treated with the utmost care. The attendant filled the car & asked me swipe inside the shop. All my cards declined, at this point not sure what was going on I asked if I could leave my cell, go to the ATM up the road to withdraw funds at which point a man known as "mkhulu" snatched my car keys & told me I cannot use MY car, I was to walk to the ATM alone in the dark. I asked him to kindly hand my car keys, he began to push me telling me he wants his money. I then picked up my phone & called for advice. When "mkhulu" realised that I was speaking to someone who knew the law, he backed down & handed my keys. Leaving my cell I drove to the ATM to find FNB dwn the declines. I eventually had ask a friend who banks with a Nedbank to come pay. I got home, called the filling station & asked for "mkhulu"s full name, "You should've looked at his name badge" was the response I was given. After assaulting me & treating me like a common criminal when I was not at fault, they protect this individual & take away my right to report him. I feel that this is completely unacceptable EngenSA
