Engen Petroleum
Engen damage car's

On the 26th June 14h30 I was on my why to a meeting and filled my car at the Engen Northcliff Corner.
While filling my tank I asked the attendant to check oil and "sprinkler water". Unfortunately the attendant opened my radiator cap, which was basically stupid. because I was on the road the most of the day and knew the water will be on the hot side. I jumped out of the car with another employee of my office (as witness to this matter) and stopped the attendant in his tracks and ask him to close the cap. As you will know all Engen filling stations have 24hour CCTV on the property that proof what happened. Driving off to my next appointment ( /4km) the car immediately showed overheating warning light. Immediately stopping at the following garage we realised the attendant did not close the cap properly. It took us 2, 5 hours to wait for the water to cool down, loosing time to work in the process. The following day I drove past the filling station and inform the owner in a calm mood. The owner tapped me on my back and made a comment about his black employee that made this mistake. I told him that he can be lucky that there was no damage. A week later a radiator pipe burst...
