I have taken 2 of my Polos to VW Lindsay Saker Rivonia, down the road from Sandtoon you'd think they were the best in Africa, where they made me spen R8000 tryning to figure out why my vehicle was switching off while i was driving at high-speeds. it came back with the same problem, the second time i took it they charge me another R1000 and sorted out the problem. My took my polo treadline in to change the cambelt, it was there for 2 weeks they couldnt find the right size, i towed the car to a back-door mechanic in randburg who found a belt in 20mins, I spent 10mins explaining to him what was the problem. i payed him R150 for his work and R100 for the belt,??? people you are getting ripped off especially those who have motor-plans, how do you know those parts are being changed? i always ask for my parts to be put in my boot, they could use spares lying around i admit but hey thats the best i could think off!
