I hired a car from Europcar at Durban Airport and I had to pay a deposit which was greater that explained so I had to share it between two debit cards due to daily limits. Nearly R8000.00 was being held as security until I returned the car. When I returned I was told that within 48 hrs. the transaction would be finalised. A week later the full amount was deducted from my bank account. The deposit is still being held and has not been released by the accounts department even after sending an email requesting this be sorted out and I still have not had a reply from anybody. Shocking service.
