My company in Midrand couriered a package to a customer in December 2012 - it never arrived. According to Fastway, "it got lost in transit" and I was told to fill out a claim form for the amount -but wait - they will only cover R1000 worth of "our loss", where the package cost us about R500 more than that. I spoke with Danie Taljaard and suggested that from a customer service perspective (since they cannot prove incorporation of their "limited liability") that they refund us our full loss. He promised to look into it back in December & get back to me. He never did. What followed was OVER A MONTH of calling, e-mailing trying to just get feedback & a satisfactory result. Numerous calls went unanswered or not returned at all after many, many messages. I was made promises that were broken, I was to & after considerable wasted effort & frustration I was told "no sorry but our company policy is blah blah..." Why did he pretend to look into a full refund? I was taken full circle to get nowhere with the most awful service I have ever experienced from a courier. Your packages are not safe with them - do NOT use Fastway. Ever!
