HYUNDAI MOTORS - HEAD OFFICE
Fuel sensor problem Atos 2022 motion

Good Day,

I would like to complain, probably for the umpteenth time. I bought an Atos 2022 model brand new in September 2022 and paid cash. Last year, the fuel sensor started giving problems. It was replaced along with the seats. This year, the fuel sensor was replaced three times along with the seats, also three times. Now, the fuel sensor is still giving problems and must be replaced again for the fourth time along with the seat again.

The DP Principal of your Boksburg branch has advised that they can replace the fuel sensor again, but it might continue giving problems. However, they can offer me a Hyundai Grand i10 at cost price. I’m waiting for a quote, but now I’m defeating the purpose of avoiding installments of having to pay off a car for years. Hyundai sold me a problematic car, and their solution to solve the problem is to put me in debt. I must say I am very shocked at the service I am getting. Is this the best option that Hyundai can come up with? I mean, this mess is not my fault. I don’t see why I must bear the brunt of Hyundai’s factory fault.

The DP of Weltevreden Park is still calling me back two months later. I wrote a review on Hello Peter about a month ago in the hope that my problem would be sorted out, but to no avail. It seems like Hyundai is only interested in covering their costs because, as I was advised, the best option for Hyundai, and not for me, is for me to take the Grand i10 at cost because they can’t let a car go at a loss. So, what if I cannot afford it? Does that mean I just have to sit with this dud of a car? That is not fair. How is this solution going to benefit me? Yes, I would love a Grand i10, but who must pay for it?

Very unhappy customer,
Awaiting your urgent response.
