My car boot could not open (electronically & manually) and I took my vehicle to Bosch Car Service Talladega in Silver Lakes. Initially I was advised that I will have to pay R750 for opening of the boot. The mechanic assured me that he has fixed boot lock for M7 in the past. After opening the book Bosch advised me that boot lock needed to be replaced and quoted me R4830 (including opening the boot), advising me that they have to order a boot lock from BMW and I will get my car between Friday and Monday (I took it there on a Thursday). 7 days later (my car at their garage for this time) they replaced the boot lock and the boot is still not opening with the new lock installed and I still had to pay for opening the boot, and the boot lock (yet the boot still does not open!!!). I will never take my vehicle back to Bosch in Silver Lakes nor would I recommend anyone to take their vehicle there. #Incompetence
