Not willing to assist with their own mess up

I have a 2010 Nissan Tida 1.6 visa auto sedan. July 31 2013 I went to Nissan Germiston and requested that the boot lock be replaced as the boot is opening whilst I drive and is not closing properly. The service adviser instead had a technician "panel beat" the lock catch. The boot was fine for a few weeks and the problem returned. Now the boot pops open at every bump causing my wife or I to stop the vehicle with our 10 month baby in the back to then battle to close the boot in all sorts of weather. We were almost targets of a hijacking because of this. I have gone back to Nissan Germiston who are now not assisting me because between my initial visit and report of the problem to now my warranty has expired yet in my initial visit I requested that the lock be changed. The service agent Peet won't even return my calls when I leave messages for him. The service has been utterly appalling as if to say me and my families safety does not matter to Nissan. This is the first Nissan that I have owned and I must say that I will probably never buy one again, not so much because of the car but instead the aftersales service is pathetic.
