My car developed a sound in the front sometime last year, which I took for mercededs to have a look at and fix, to which I was told and meant to believe that all was well as according to specialists. Me just being a guy who trusts the manufacturers of my car, I took what ever I was [URL Removed] the 23rd of January, my car developed a starter problem, I took it in for that problem to be fixed, they replaced the petrol pump, which I dont mind.ie I paid [URL Removed] Monday the 28th when I needed to collect my car, I was advised that they have pickedup another problem with the timing chain, this is the same initial noise that they had said it was nothing, but now that the car is out of maintenance plan, they want to repair and charge R20, 000.00.Please advise if this is how all motor/car delearship swindle loyal customers their hard earned money., if thats the case, I pity all mercedes benz drivers because soon or later another client will be facing the same day light I have experienced!
