This is the first time that I had to rent a vehicle. I did the quotation and booking online. First of all, when you do the booking online they give you a price (which I thought is the total price) then only after I completed my card details and they deducted the money from my account did it show another R400 added to the original price! No where on the internet while I was doing the booking nor on my confirmation of my booking did it say that I would have to pay R9 000 deposit when collecting the vehicle. I don't mind paying it, but I would have loved to have known this before making the booking! I just feel that all the terms and conditions needs to be explained properly. Then on the day I returned the vehicle I saw on the final invoice that another payment of R60 will be deducted from this deposit for contract fee! Where did I agree to yet another hiden costs??!! I also did not know that if I am paying the deposit that I will have to be the driver and I had to pay another R250 for an additional driver as my partner would be driving? I returned the vehicle on Friday 1 Feb and they said I will have the money back in my account in 3 days. I have still not received my deposit back!!
