On saturday 29 June I was set to move from my rented premises in Glen Austin to my new home in Halfway Gardens. A company called Bulls Removals had been booked and scheduled to arrive at 10 am. At 11am no Bulls, so I phoned and was told they'd be 2hrs late. At 1pm I phoned again to be told another 2hr delay was expected. So I started googling to find another removal company. Came across Nortan on Gumtree. Ron told me he was fully booked but could help at 4pm and wld phone me back with a quote if I mailed him my content list, which I did. I had hardly mailed the list when Ron phoned to adivse he had a team free who had finished early and they were on their way to my house already!!! This was 2.30pm. Nortan was already 45minutes into loading when Bulls eventually pitched. BONUS was that Nortan charged me R500 LESS than Bulls at the end of the day.
Way to go Ron for going the extra mile, at the last minute, doing two trips and still charging me less. Not a scratch or a dent on any of my items! For peace of mind, book Nortan Carriers!!!
