I need to give credit where credit is due. You guys pulled me out of a serious jam today and for that I am truly grateful. Thanks also to Sipho, Kilos and the other group that joined in.
A month ago I arranged for some other movers to move me to my new place today.
At the time, I contacted a few of the movers on Gumtree and I chose the lowest price obviously.
Big mistake. My movers never pitched without even a call or an sms. I was getting voice mail the whole day after paying a R850 deposit.
At 3:30 FRANTIC I start calling every mover but everybody is already fully booked.
I was feeling the pressure of the new owners demanding to move in, my kids at daycare and the worst rain I ever saw in my life.
I then remembered getting a quote from Nortan but I never chose them because their price was slightly more. I took a chance and called them and explained my story.
On a Friday afternoon at 4pm, the owner of Nortan arrives driving the truck. He calmly says relax, we got this. Everything else from there is a blurr. They just handled it.
They worked continuously and another team joined in and they all worked into the night.
I will recommend this company any day. Kudos - Well done
