In may 2012 I purchased a Alfa Mitto QV sport. It had rattles and a noise on the suspension, it went back and forth to Atlantis Motors in Centurion for repairs. It was eventually sorted, but while my vehicle was there they damaged the sides of the vehicle, I requested that they order me a new vehicle which they in conjunction with FIAT SA did. Thanx for that.
On pick up of the new vehicle on 23 Jan 2013, I noticed that the vehicle is higher then the previous one, on driving it, there is a huge difference between the 2 vehicles, the new one is unstable and floats you have to constantly correct it.
I bought the first Alfa because of the way it handles on the road, now Alfa and Atlantis is telling me, After again the vehicle was with Alfa for a week so that they can compare which they did pick up the new one is 20mm higher than the old. But never drove the 2 vehicles to compare as I asked them to, they would of picked up the difference. That there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. And that they can not do anything for me.
I will go to the MIO, I will also be sending my whole story to all motoring magazines.
Think twice before purchasing Alfa. The rumours are true...
