My wife resigned from work at the end of July 2012. The claim went in in the beginning of august 2012 after having to go to mibco offices in hatfield pretoria. Only to find out that the company she was working for had liquidated in november 2010.None of the staff at the company were notified thereof from mibco who are suppost to be union Representatives. Payments to mibco were not payed to mibco by the owner of the company for a while. We only found out that our money that we had been paying every month was not being recieved by mibco. Now that my wife needs to claim their excuse was the companies payments weren't up to date and she must wait until the company is payed up to date. Now we found out that payments are up to date but the unreliable staff at mibco have lost the claims paper work. Now six months after the claim they want us to run around to get more of the same papers filled in and signed by the owner of the company.when our funds have been exhausted trying to get the claim procest. We find it very pathetic that being employed in the motor industry you have to be a member of mibco by law and then this is the way that things get handeld.
