Unorganized system led to late delivery

I have a package coming in from USA, and after paying their disumbersment fee last thursday (31st jan) and sending the proof of payment to all their necessary channels, they phone me twice today asking if payment has been made (4th of Feb).. Package took 2days to get from Usa to Sa, but will take a week to get from OR tambo to Pretoria..
