I recently had to have my motorcar serviced. After a bit of shopping around on prices I ended up taking it to the Car Services City in Constantia.
Not knowing much about what was needed to be done for the service, or what it would end up costing me, it came as quite a pleasant surprise that at check in the consultant broadly explained what they were going to do, but also took the time to double check on other little annoyances that I had forgotten about.By the end we'd added that the inside light wasn't working (blow bulb), one the window washer spouts was blocked, and the rear wiper needed tensioning.
When I came in to pick up the car that afternoon I was once again informed about what was done, and most importantly why. Usually you are hurried through in favour of numbers.
For a change I felt I wasn't taken for a ride, and that it was money well spent. The car was pulling better, it felt sturdier, and the little nagging bits where cleared up. In short it felt like a new (er) car again.
