IF ONLY THIS WAS TRUE, PERHAPS THEY MEAN THEIR OWN PEOPLE, IT CERTAINLY DOES NOT INCLUDE CUSTOMERS.
I have an issue with Avis and tried calling their customer care (6 times) and each time received an automated response saying that they were experiencing a very high call rate but could e-mail their customer service.
I have e-mailed their customer service, the e-mail has been sent 3 times in three days with no response, reference numbers 71046, 72054 and 72972.
It is a joke that Avis advertise that " people are more important than cars " when it is not possible to contact their customer care or enlist a response from them via e-mail. I wonder how many other people have experienced the same problem.
If Avis responded to customer issues as quickly as they debit a persons credit card things would be great.
Any suggestions of any other route to follow in order to talk to Avis?
