Poor service

Hi

I took my car reg no BK86SYGP for a service on 27 December 2013 at the above branch tel 011 2801000. They changed the usual:

- oil Filter
- air filter
- brake pads
- control arm bushes

They then told me the car had a service campaign or call back on the ECU and they needed to work on it the entire day. I patiently waited and eventually received the car at 1700hrs. I drove it once to Preroria and back home in Johannesburg South. On New Year Day on 1 January 2014 I drove to a shopping centre in Eldorado Park and when I tried to leave my car wouldn't start and my windows, aircon and General Electrics on the car did not work. I phoned Mercedes Benz Helpline and a Technician came from Shiraz auto in Lenasia came and diagnosed a faulty electronic system or component which is directly linked to what they worked on as above. Surely this was a bad service and Mercedes Benz should be liable for bad workmanship given that my warranty expires on 2 Jan 2014 and they will want to Charge me for a fault they may well have created. I query the entire service and feel it reflects badly on Mercedes Benz and I am reliably informed other similar complaints have been lodged with them recently
