I took my car to Budget Auto in Maitland for a major service yesterday. according to the pamphlet, a whole lot of services were to be done on the car and because i generally don't trust mechanics, i decided to stick around the whole time that my car was there, despite the manager's (whatever his name is) attempts to get me to leave. then Akbar (probably the biggest there) told me that my car needed a special brand of spark plugs, which would increase the price of the service from R1800 to R4500. i told him that i did not have that type of money and that i just wanted a normal service done to the car. after nagging and nagging me about the importance of the spark plugs, i eventually gave in and told him that i could only afford R2200. he said that he would also ensure that the general condition would be checked etc. B.S!! they don't do for your car there! i watched people bringing in their cars and leaving them there with those untrustworthy!
PLEASE PEOPLE! DON'T TAKE YOUR CARS TO BUDGET AUTO! they are like leeches just waiting to you dry! they tell you about how this and that need to be replaced when they actually don't.
