I bought a Groupon voucher for a major service for two cars from budget auto clinic.
My husband took his car on the 19 July 2013. He asked them to check break lights and reverse lights that didn't work properly. The manager advised my husband that lack of power is his coil pack that needed to be replaced. He also told my husband that if he gives him R5500 to do it then he can claim R6500 from his warranty which my husband declined as we are not dishonest people. He then told my husband that the cambelt must be replaced which my husband paid R1800 for as well as R350 for spark plugs and R250 excess for his warranty.
When my husband went to collect his car the reverse lights and break lights still didn't work and the car still had lack of power. They asked him to return on the Tuesday 23 July which he did.
He collected the car Tuesday evening and the lights still had not been fixed. Dropped the car the wednesday and when he collected it they said it was fixed, thursday he realised it wasn't fixed and took it back. To date we have still not received the car back.
