I took my Honda Prelude in on 12th December for a (R595) service after getting numerous flyers at intersections - 1st I was told the service would cost R1095, then I was told I needed a flush for an extra R295, then I was told that I needed a reconditioned distributor because they couldn't start the car (R2200 labour).
I then collected the car and was told that I needed a new oil seal and my starter motor was faulty - yet I hadnever had an issue with it.
On taking the car I went to the shops on my way home and the car wouldn't start. They came (finally) and managed to start it, but when I got home my car has stood parked because I can't start it at all. Now they say that I have to pay to tow it to them, and then pay for it to be fixed - how do I know that they have not created these issues to continue upselling to me? I am going to th epolice to lay a charge of against them!
