On 1 Nov 2013 brand new Ford Eco Sport with less than 4000 km broke down at Parkview Mall. Waited 6 hours 45 minutes to be towed in to nearest ford branch in Menlyn. Poor service and from the Automobile Association tow (AA) who is partner of Ford led to first waiting almost three hours for a mechanic who got lost along the way and who could not assist. Then waited another almost 2 hours for a tow truck all the time with promises they are on their way. Tow truck alos got lost. My whole day waisted by AA and Ford. Complaints were raised with Ford but to no avail. I made more than R160 of calls. Women alone waiting this long could have been robbed and due to incompetence. This was in Pretroria not the middle of the Karoo. Ford must get rid of the AA and get a tow in partner who is able to do their job properly. Call ref number was 208. Still waiting for an apology for pathetic service by AA and Ford. Clearly AA assistants do not have good communication skills despite clear directions. All their calls are recorded. Wont recommend ford assist and aa to anyone!!!
