I bought a NEW JMC LWB Bakkie beginning of this year. It has a manufacturer's warranty. This bakkie had its 40000km service last week. My bakkie left for Victoria West, from Pretoria, on Tuesday 19/11/2013 to go and do a job. The trip to Victoria West went well. Wednesday, upon completion of the job, my bakkie only managed to travel 150km and broke down!!! There was a problem with the gearbox, which was one of the main concerns reported to them prior to the service. They sent a breakdown vehicle, from Bloemfontein, to recover the vehicle. That is much appreciated, but also actually a given as the bakkie is under warranty. Now my guys needs to come home (Pretoria) as the repairs will take another day or two. Rainbow Motors (FJ Labuschagne) said they are not prepared to make a plan to get my people home or to make sure that they have a place to sleep or help them with something to eat. This is not the first time that my NEW bakkie broke down. No, it is the TWELFTH time!!! I have my own business and absolutely rely on transport to service my customers in the field. They have also never been prepared to give us a courtesy vehicle. Frankly, I want them to take their bakkie back.
