I need your urgent assistant please,
I bought a car (ND 12507) on 31/July/2013 from the garage called Whole Sale Cars in 587 Umgeni Road Durban. I paid the amount of R28000.00 cash
I took this car to the licensing office in Winklespruit to register it under my name, where I was told that this car is still using an old logbook,
And they have to apply for the updated one from Pietermaritzburg, I had to wait for a new logbook to come back from PMB,
After two or three months when I went to the licensing office to register this car I was told that a car is scrapped and taken out off the road,
I phoned the garage they told me that they were trying to get hold of me and they lost my contact details which I think is impossible or they were lying to me,
When I get there they told me that Mr. Stourbridge who we never dealt with before, apparently this guy (previous owner) has been receiving fines against his name
Which I thought that should be going straight to the garage because we bought a car from the garage and therefore it should be on the garage's name not individual's name
So this guy was keep on telling the garage to pay for this fines and they refused they say I
