I made an on-line reservation for a category "Group B" vehicle which I collected on Friday. My complaint relates to the front desk lady who upon my vehicle collection wanted to offer me a Ford Figo instead of a VW Polo/Fiesta/I20, she tried to convince me that the Figo and the polo/fiesta/I20 have same classification and they are all hatchbacks. She explained that there were no polo's/fiesta's or i20 available and she can only offer me the Figo, I refused and she then went to the back and then surprisingly came back with the keys for a Polo. After checking out, I noticed that there were lots of Polo's and I20's in your parking bay.
This was the first time I was using Avis, I normally use Europcar, the reason being this time I used Avis because the previous two days, my employer (Unilever) hired a bus from Avis and I was the driver and it was going to be convenient for me to just drop the bus and pick up the car from one company.
I find your service appalling to say the least, had I agreed, I would have been charged money for a Group B car but having a Group A car.
