I went to the Rondebosch BP service station last night at around 21h00 as I realized I had a massive bubble in my tyre that was causing my car to shake. I live in Somerset West so was unable to call anyone for help.
Upon my arrival I was told by the attendants that it is not their job to change tyres so they will not help me unless I pay them a fee. I do understand that it might not be in their job description and even if they ask for compensation but as a principal the arrogant, disrespectful way I was spoken to and the unwillingness to help a woman to change a tyre late at night is ridiculous. I was truly shocked.
There wasn't a manager on duty and this seemed to have turned into a game where the staff found it amusing to make it clear that they were not going to help.
Is this normal as I can't believe it?
