Appalling Service reminent of apartheid era

In the past 10 years I have bought and owned 3 Mercedes Benz vehicles. The latest one being a 2012 C250 coupe.

Last Thursday afternoon it was towed after failing to start. It was towed to the Bedfordview dealership.By Friday afternoon I had not been given a report on the status of the vehicle. Naturally I lodged a complaint with Mercedes Benz South Africa (MBSA). I only got an electronic response to say that someone would be in touch with me. I am still waiting for that till this day!

On the other hand, the treatment by the dealership has gotten worse. Today, I stood there close to an hour without being attended! I had been called in the morning to come and collect a loan vehicle, but after waiting for over an hour I was told to go away as there was no loan vehicle for me. I am seriously wondering wherther the treatment is as a result of my skiing color or that I laid a complaint.

I have sent another complaint to MBSA. I'm waiting to see if there will be any positive response.

This is what I get for purchasing a vehicle over half a million rand!
